What You Will Be Doing: In this pivotal support role, you will work closely with the Buyer to execute long-term category strategies and short-term tactical plans. You’ll provide critical analytical and administrative support, serve as a key liaison for stores and internal teams, and ensure data accuracy, promotional execution, and sample management run smoothly to drive business performance.
Deliver analytical and administrative excellence to support the Buyer and enhance decision-making and team productivity.
Own data management and insights: manage, analyse, and maintain large datasets using Microsoft Excel and SAP to generate reports, identify trends, and inform buying decisions.
Support new product development and sourcing: assist in identifying, developing, and sourcing products aligned with brand strategy, market trends, and business goals.
Act as the primary point of contact for Master Data, E-commerce, and store-related queries, delivering timely and effective resolutions.
Elevate the online customer experience by optimising and sourcing high-quality product content, imagery, and information for the website (improving usability, SEO, and conversion).
Maintain data integrity and standards: ensure accurate, standardised product and pricing data across systems.
Manage promotions and pricing: execute and maintain promotions and pricing updates to support sales and marketing initiatives.
Support sample and store operations – manage sample tracking, store queries, and requests to enable smooth operations and faster product turnaround.
About You:
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with genuine passion for data-driven decision making.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis).
Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP systems) – highly regarded.
Experience/Background experience in a Buyer’s Assistant, Merchandising Assistant, or similar role within roles- minimum 2 years
A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, always looking to improve processes.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset.
A genuine passion for retail and a desire to contribute to a growing business.
