Permanent Full Time Position based at 111 Cecil Street South Melbourne, Victoria

Salary range up to $ 75,000 to $80,000

 

We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to maximise business returns and stock turnover rates through driving demand and inventory levels all whilst keeping the focus on the end customer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Replenishment

  • Completion of weekly replenishment review and upload
  • Capture any actions to be taken in replenishment to incorporate into forecast review
  • Alignment with Planner regarding OTB
  • Adhoc store/corporate ordering as required

 

Inventory Management

  • Assist in product lifecycle and markdown strategies to optimize margins.
  • Collaborate with buying and supply chain teams to ensure efficient stock flow and alignment with inventory targets.
  • Maintain inventory levels across stores and DCs to ensure optimal availability and minimise overstock/out-of-stocks

 

Demand & Forecasting

  • Assist in ensuring timely orders to meet demand forecasts
  • Update store replenishment targets in collaboration with the planner to maintain optimal inventory levels.

 

Analysis and Reporting

  • Prepare and assist with trade reports, highlighting performance trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Analyse performance to identify areas for growth and improvement.

 

Communication

  • Regular interactions with Merchandise Teams, Supply Chain and Trade Partners
  • Work collaboratively to drive consensus decisions with the Merchandise Teams
  • Clear communication regarding deadlines to relevant stakeholders

 

Processes and Systems

  • Utilising knowledge to identify and optimise efficiencies in process
  • Contribute/support the induction/onboarding of future Inventory Analysts
  • Actively support Inventory/Planning function

 

Key Selection Criteria

  • At least 2 years Retail experience
  • Good knowledge of retail operations
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Microsoft Outlook skills
  • Excellent data entry and computer skills (SAP experience ideal)
  • Exposure to high SKU count environment
