The Role:
As Department Team Leader within TSG/Apparel, you will be responsible for:
A dynamic department at the heart of the customer adventure journey, providing every explorer with the right gear, knowledge and confidence to head outdoors.
Lead your team from the front: energizing the shop floor and creating an environment where every customer feels inspired to start their next adventure
Drive sales and performance by connecting customers with the right technical gear, apparel and solutions for their outdoor pursuits.
Bring the Apparel department to life through impactful merchandising that tells a story. From hiking trails to campfire nights and everything in between!
Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training of team members
Keep your department adventure-ready, ensuring stock is well-managed, replenished and presented to maximise every sales opportunity
Drive and support in-store events, promotions and seasonal campaigns that excite customers and showcase our amazing products.
Work closely with store leadership to execute big ideas and elevate the overall in-store experience at Adventure HQ
Be hands-on and present, jumping in to support your team, solve problems and create a high-energy, customer-first culture every day
About You
Previous experience in a retail leadership role such as Team Leader, Department Supervisor or Assistant Manager
Experience in apparel, footwear, or technical outdoor gear (highly regarded)
Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering exceptional service
Proven ability to drive sales and meet performance targets
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Passion for outdoor adventure and helping customers gear up for their next experience
